President Reagan signed a bill Nov. 2, 1983, creating the federal holiday called Martin Luther King Jr. Day held on the third Monday in January. It was first celebrated in 1986. Deja Brew, located next to the Bowling Center in Area 1 of Aviano Air Base, Italy, opened Dec. 30, 2009 following a ribbon cutting ceremony. The cafe seats up to 30 people and serves coffee, cheesecake, snacks, and assorted frozen drinks (caffeinated and non-caffeinated such as mango frozen drinks).
