Military Housing Office (MHO)

The Military Housing Office (MHO) is available to support our military members and their families. Upon arrival, please visit our MHO office for a briefing on housing choices. At Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, housing is privatized with Corvias. Corvias is the Private Owner responsible for maintaining, repairing, constructing and managing family housing assets and the housing community. If you are eligible to reside in family housing and choose to live on base, please stop by our office and apply. If you move into housing and have unresolved work orders, other issues, or are not satisfied with housing for any reason, please contact our office. The MHO will address the issue with Corvias and work together to ensure that all concerns are resolved in a timely manner. Another avenue for resolving disputes is via the Air Force Housing Hotline toll free number: 1-800-482-6431. Bottom-line…we take great pride in our family housing community. We are very committed to providing a safe environment in which to live and the best customer service to all of our military members and their families. NOTE: The MHO is located in the Corvias Community Center at 600 Kenly Road. Military Housing Office—722-0362/0363/0364

HOUSING ALLOWANCES
Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH)
Military members assigned to the Installation or surrounding area receive Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH). The purpose of the BAH program is to provide housing allowances to service members based on median housing costs in local civilian markets. The DoD determines the correct housing allowance to enable members to afford suitable housing within a reasonable distance of their duty location. The allowance is set based on geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependent status and is adjusted each year.

For more information about your BAH, visit the Defense Travel Management Office website.
