The staff at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam is available and ready to provide assistance with housing options and local resources to support the transition to your new home and community. The Navy is the lead service for all of your housing needs and provides support for both Pearl Harbor and Hickam AFB. All Air Force personnel should report to the Hickam Military Housing Office (MHO) within 72 hours upon arrival. This visit is necessary to receive counselling and guidance on Housing and Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) matters. Personnel interested in residing in PPV housing must complete a housing referral package and briefing with MHO. Virtual referral briefs are available to applicants 30 days prior to their report date and is conducted on Wed, Fri at 0900 HST and Tue, Thu at 1300 HST. Applicants who have already reported to their command will need to schedule an in-person appointment to receive a referral brief.
